Monday evening: EMT test done, back to real life.

So, for better or worse, I've taken the NREMT exam. I'll get my results in a couple of days. If I didn't pass, I'll at least have a better idea of what I need to study.

I took the day off from work so I could take the test. Having a little free time this morning (and needing a break from studying), I popped in at Chabad for the morning minyan, and was invited to lead again. This morning, though, was especially nice because the students (boys and girls) were in the congregation, chanting along with the prayers. It was delightful to hear the kids' voices.

Tomorrow, back to work. I'm going to try to get as much overtime as I can, because I need the income and because I want to establish a solid work record after having been out of the full-time workforce for a while. Also I want to learn as much as I can about SharePoint, because it's relevant to office administration in general and my area in particular. (SP is often used to manage digitized documents.)

I'm glad I took the EMT training. I may end up using it directly, indirectly, or not at all, but I'm glad I went through the course and acquired the knowledge. How much I've retained, well, I guess we'll see pretty soon.
