Happy Festivus from Portland!

I got into town yesterday morning around 10:30 - too early to reasonably expect my hotel room to be ready, but I lucked out and was able to check in right away. I caught a short nap, got a light lunch and some coffee, and spent some time looking at the apartment listings. Then I hit Ringlers on Burnside and called it a night.

Today I'm going to scout out a couple of the most promising places. I'm still adjusting to how much cheaper the rents are here, compared to SF!
