Mevushal

So, fortunately I'd stashed away a couple of gallons of distilled water, some of which I use in the hot pot for Shabbat. I'm also enough of a prepper (or wannabe prepper) that I keep a couple of five-gallon water cans filled with tap water.

In any event I doubt the excitement over the contaminated drinking water in Portland will have much of an impact on my weekend.

I'm near the end of the online cryptography course I'm enrolled in. Yes, it's hard. Some math, lots of logic. I think I bit off more than I could chew with this, but I'm determined to complete the course and, hopefully, pass. At a bare minimum I want to come away from it understanding more about digital cryptography than when I started.
