Easy Chair

That recliner I bought a few weeks ago is a perfectly decent looking chair, and it's comfortable to sit in and lie back in, but I'm not sure it's very good for my posture or my back. To begin with, there is no headrest and no head support at all. The back of the chair supports my back about as far as the shoulderblades, and stops there.

And the chair is both a recliner and a rocker, which I'm not sure is a good combination. For an easy chair, I'd prefer a chair that stays put rather than rocking, and this one doesn't seem to have a lock on it, so I'm stuck with it. The net result is that my head, neck, cervical spine rock back and forth like a bobblehead doll every time I sit down. And I'm pretty sure that that's not a good thing.

I've mitigated the problem using one of those horseshoe-shaped airline pillows - the ones that look like a puffy toilet seat - but that's only a partial solution. Sooner or later I'm gonna have to go shopping for another easy chair, and take a little more time picking one out.
