View from the Mirpeset

That's the view of the creek, as seen from my patio (I like the Hebrew word better) during a sunny moment this afternoon. That rug that's drying on the railing used to be my sister's; it's one of a number of mementos I've kept. A friend of mine who teaches Judaic Studies at Portland State lives in the next complex over - you can almost see his place from here, it's behind a patch of trees and would be just beyond the left edge of this image.

I love watching the willows when it's windy.
