Friday afternoon: wind, rain, and the view from 22 yards.

I haven't posted much this week, but that's because I've been busy, busy, busy.

Had some very pleasant dates with non-flaky people.

Made a lot of progress on my semiconductor physics course: I'm now learning MOSFETs. Expect to be able to hand in the 2nd homework (of 3 for the course) Sunday.

Going to start working on my review of 'Tar Baby' - Toni Morrison's fourth novel, and I think one of her most interesting - this weekend.

I went shooting yet again today - third time this week. Today I shot 300 rounds, 150 at 10 yards and 150 at 22 yards. My groups are definitely getting better, although I still need to get the sights adjusted on my Glock. I'm scheduled for a one-on-one lesson Monday morning.

We're finally getting Portland weather, and getting it good and hard. We lost power Wednesday morning for about six hours, amid a rash of flood watches for the region. Don't know if that'll happen again this weekend, but we're definitely getting some serious rain.
