Had two dates with a nice-looking woman about my age, we talked about hiking, spirituality, music, and our families, and I thought we were hitting it off pretty well; turns out she thinks I'm a "very nice person, but ..." well, you get the idea.
Have finished most of Homework 2 in the semiconductor course. I want to get proficient with using Adobe Acrobat, so I'm sending it in as an edited PDF rather than a scan of hand-written equations on notebook paper.
I'm on a big push right now to build up my skill level in MS Office and Adobe Creative. I know Word and Excel pretty well but I want to know them better, and I'll need to master PowerPoint if I want to move my career forward. (It's not enough to have the right ideas and data, you have to be able to communicate them effectively.) I'm using Adobe Audition for my voice training, and of course there's the ubiquitous Acrobat.
Another day at the range tomorrow. Thursday night I give my proficiency lecture at the Lodge - it's a dialog about 10 - 15 minutes long that you have to memorize and recite. This is the very last thing I have to complete before becoming a full-fledged Mason and a full member of the Lodge. So, I'm looking forward to that.
I still have to lock on some help for Bunny's upcoming visit. I've got to get the place cleaned up for her visit, and for a get-together I'm having next week with a few friends from the Jewish community.
Then I have to get ready for EMT school, and after that, Africa ...
