Al aire libre.

Before work I spent a little time on the Spanish dialog in 'Beyond the Basics' where Miguel welcomes Carlos and Juana to Madrid. It turns out that "al aire libre" is a bit of a tongue twister, at least for my poor old gringo tongue, so I practiced the phrase over and over on the way to work. It was cloudy, and, despite the forecast, it started sprinkling a few drops just as I got to work.

I stopped at the company cafeteria per usual. "!El pronóstico mintió!" I told Carolina (another tongue twister), "Yo pensé que no va a llover."

I sat down to eat my breakfast - adentro, claro, y no afuera al aire libre.
